Each frame and mirror is designed using one or a combination of the following:-
Sand - Both fine and coarse sand gathered from different beaches around the island, this is then dried and treated.
Shingle - A mixture of crushed and ground shells, tiny stones and pebbles.
Pebbles - Small pebbles found on certain beaches on the island which have been gradually worn down by the tides.
Shells - Again found on various beaches, depending on the season, and added for that finishing touch!
Driftwood - Small pieces individually selected for their shape and markings.
